Remember when life was simple?
We used to memorize phone numbers - Wasn't speed dial a drug in the 60s?
We used to have answering machines - We didn't need to carry around a phone on our hip 24/7.
There were these things called stamps and letters - you know before Email.
Blue-tooth was caused by those Blue popsicles and I think Blue-Ray was a weapon that Flash Gordon used.
There was no such thing as Facebook, Fan Pages, the web or an RSS feed.
and a twit-ter - was that kid the bullys in school used to tease on the playground.
Well everything changes. So now we have the Icons:

Oh the sweet memories! We've come a long way baby! Wasn't there a scary movie about the BLOG?
James, We do have the icons and they just keep growing and growing and growing!
Indeed, James, it is a whole new world with so much technology - who has time to sleep?
Jim..Really cool ...I like this one
Hannah
actually it is rather scary too, as all those things were staples in our lives in the past.
Note to Don---that would be the "Blob", the out of control ooze that threatened to take over the town and do bad things to the residents--hey< maybe you hit on it afterall--Blogs can do that too.LOL
Good memories and factual, actual presentatio of how pre-tech folks conducted their lives and how they grew their Businesses. Thanks
Yes we are changing. A few months ago in a training class I told the class that Marshall McCluhan had referred to our world with television and radio as a global community ... now I think he'd call it a global neighborhood!
I almost blogged about showing a house the other day with a green wall-phone still in it. The kids were amazed. They couldn't believe what they were seeing. It was also rotary dial.
